green, which is central to the village and boasts views of
both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Caravanners dining in the Inn can choose
to eat in the restaurant, which offers a varied menu including
several special fish dishes and fresh Devonshire ingredients. or have a pub meal in the bar.

away from the Sunny Pooh Corner caravan site, with a weekly Pannier market held in the town square
– it’s well worth visiting.

bowling green. Or you may choose to visit Roadford Lake
- just a 5 min drive from the Sunny Pooh Corner caravan site - which offers sailing, brown
trout fishing, Devon Cream teas and lovely walks around the lake
plus a host of seasonal activities throughout the year.

A 10 min
drive in the opposite direction brings you to the ‘hilltop’
town of Launceston, once the ancient capital and gateway
to Cornwall. On the top of the hill is the Mediterranean
style castle built by the 1st Norman and Earl of Cornwall
in the 12th century. The surrounding countryside can be
easily admired from the Launceston Steam Railway running
to New Mills during the tourist season
